We love getting photos from our customers to see what they did to customize their SteelMaster building. Here are some photos that we received from Monte K. in Tonasket, WA. He has created a unique garage out of his SteelMaster buildings including custom endwalls and insulation.
“Here are some pictures of my garage you asked for a while back. I framed the end walls myself using 2×6 studs, hardy plank lap siding, Sheetrock interior and R-19 insulation.
The room incorporated into the front of the garage is a framed and very well insulated room that I keep anything that will freeze in. It has a small propane heater that keeps the room above 50 deg. all winter. The garage has a 75,000 Btu propane furnace to take the chill out of the air when working; it stays below freezing here for about 3 months out of the year.
I took a picture showing the garage insulation and the two sky lights which by the way work extremely well year around. I also showed that garage door openers can be installed with this type of garage.
The steel structure makes it ideal for attaching electrical conduit, water and air pipe.
Overall this is the best garage I’ve ever had and I would not hesitate to purchase one again.”
