Salt Storage Solutions

As a mild winter comes to an end, many municipalities are left with an excessive amount of road salt that they never had to use this past winter. Most towns know how much salt they go through during a season and order accordingly. However, under their contracts they have a minimum quantity that must be fulfilled. Many of the towns have yet to meet that minimum. That means that not only will they have to store the salt they have on-hand, they will also have to order more and find room to keep it.
SteelMaster salt storage buildings offer an economical solution to save road salt for the following winter. Our steel storage buildings offer:

Clear-span design provides maximum storage capacity without obstruction.
Galvalume Plus steel creates a maintenance-free building able to withstand harsh weather conditions.
Simple construction allows for rapid assembly, easy relocation and expansion.

Construction of Steel Buildings in Haiti

We just received some great photos of a new project under construction in Haiti. New Life Church in Renton, WA purchased three steel buildings to be used to help rebuild Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January 2010. Members of the church are currently in Haiti to construct the three buildings. Two of the buildings will be used as classrooms, while the largest will be a church. Check out the pictures below to see the construction progress of the church…
